Pawsitive Purrposes Baja was founded in 2012 by a group of animal advocates in San Felipe, Baja. We created a shelter and cared for 100 plus adult dogs, soon to be mothers, and puppies. In 2019 the organization was moved to the Ensenada, Rosarito area where the need was just as great. We are partners with Petco, Petsmart where we atten

In 2019 the organization was moved to the Ensenada, Rosarito area where the need was just as great. We are partners with Petco, Petsmart where we attended adoption events. As a result of COVID, our focus has been a one on one approach that has provided many successful adoptions.

Our team is made up of volunteers that set up feeding stations, schedule and provide vaccinations, foster, spay and neuter and help find permanent homes. In many cases transport to these loving homes in the United States and Canada. Many of them seek or provide much needed financial help

Our partnership with Petco has provided grants as well as donations of food and pet accessories since 2014. In addition, our animals are promoted through Adopt A Pet. and Facebook.
We partner with many area rescues to promote and provide financial help and food for the homeless animals in various communities.
